Construction Monitoring
Completing a construction project on time and on budget is extremely challenging for any contractor. There will undoubtedly be instances throughout the course of a project that will threaten that. Cambr's construction monitoring services can quickly identify these issues. We will communicate them to appropriate parties and work closely with team members to find best resolutions.
During construction of the planned improvements, Cambr will perform periodic site visits to…
- monitor the quality of construction;
- assure conformance with the planned improvements;
- monitor construction progress and ability to achieve the original completion date;
- observe appropriate manpower and materials on site.
In conjunction with the site services, Cambr will review contractor pay applications to…..
- determine if the requested amounts are commensurate with the observed completed work;
- estimate percentage of completion and sufficiency of remaining budget;
- determine if pay application includes material deposits or off-site materials;
- determine if retainage conforms with contract terms;
- review change orders for appropriateness, comprehensiveness and proper execution;
- review lien waiver.
The above findings will be formalized in a written report to include photographs of the construction progress.
